Male Plastic Surgery: Happening More and More

Monday, December 31st, 2007

By Nicola Kennedy In this modern society, beauty and looks are valued an awful lot. As a result, men from all walks of life desire plastic surgery for aesthetic reasons. Men typically crave for a perfect nose, a slender waistline, a rejuvenated face, and normal-shaped ears. The key intent is to attain an enhanced look, which in turn instills a sense of confidence and self-esteem. Perfect features, acquired after cosmetic surgery, do widen a mans social horizon and certainly help him in wooing pretty women. Men may also opt for plastic surgery to defy signs of aging. Wrinkles, facial marks and blemishes, unwanted hair growth, all can be effectively erased through plastic surgery. Plastic surgery has always been the primary choice for women when it comes to personal enhancement. However, with increasing awareness about the surgery prospects, more men are lining up for plastic surgery procedures than ever before. In the present scenario, it would not be surprising if a man comes up with a request for a facial plastic surgery so as to acquire the looks of his favorite Hollywood actor. Mens facial cosmetic surgery poses greater problems than womens. This is because male facial skin has a richer blood supply. And since male faces bleed more during surgery, there is a possible risk of temporary pooling of blood under the skin, after surgery. Other factors that need to be considered for male facelift are the extent of beard growth and the hairline. Though advanced equipment is capable of averting any danger or risks, male cosmetic surgery is certainly more complex than the female counterpart. Other cosmetic surgery procedures, including eyelid surgery, nose surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and ear reshaping, are performed in much the same way for men and women. Plastic surgery provides a boost for men in their business life as well as love life. There is simply no reason why men would shun plastic surgery. Nicola publishes an informational site about liposuction surgery, with articles and news, tips and views to help you make the correct choice about Male Liposuction Surgery at http://lipo.plastic-surgery-info.net This article may be reprinted in full so long as the resource box and the live links are included intact. Antique Wine Collection

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

By Simon Oldmann The collection of antiques are a passion that has been around for decades. There are many collectors who look for rare and valuable items, creating their own miniature galleries, libraries, or museums in their homes. There are many reasons why antique collectors have a fondness for the art. On one end, vintage items are usually artistic and beautiful, so there is an aesthetic appeal to this hobby. For others, it is a mark of wealth and affluence, as certain extremely rare and valuable items can only be obtained from specialty collectors and require vast amounts of time, money, and effort to locate. Then of course there is the practical approach of the resale value of vintage items. With proper care and maintenance, antiques can fetch huge sums of money from other collectors willing to buy them. The best part about vintage items is that, properly maintained, their value only appreciates over time. One type of antique collection that can be considered a time-honored art, right alongside stamp collection and vase collection, is the collection of antique wine bottles. This hobby evokes images of earlier times and a past era where nobility had their own collection of rare fine wines in their cellars, bringing out their best vintages to entertain only their most honored guests. The collection of wine bottles today is not quite restricted to the nobility as such. More and more people have gotten into the craft of setting up small wine cellars in their homes, ranging from tiny racks running behind home-made bars, to larger staggered racks housed in their basements. The best thing about this hobby is that wine’s taste and quality also appreciates with the passage of time, so this increases the value of even recently bottled wines. Some collectors specialize in speculative wine collections, focusing their purchases not on established vintage labels, but rather on modern wines which are much easier to locate and purchase. The reason for this is that they can then wait a few years for the currents in the wine markets to shift, and once those labels they’ve purchased are no longer in production, they can, after a few more years, be considered vintage labels which will drive up their monetary value considerably. The more traditional collectors scoff at this approach, tending instead to acquiring rare wines from the past centuries. These people will admittedly wind up spending far more for their purchases than those who collect recently produced labels, but the rewards are far more satisfying as well. Aside from the affluence that comes with such a purchase, there is also the fact that these items are so difficult to find that even reselling one bottle of them can bring in thousands of dollars. Beside the financial aspects of reselling old items, this hobby can educate you with new information about wine. You can build impressive collection of wine bottles, that can turn any event with your family or friend to a big happy party. Remember keeping the most valuable bottles for special occasion or special moment that it be worth it. House Plants: Think Green for the Perfect Gift!

Friday, December 28th, 2007

By Gail Leino With todays families more and more frequently living greater distances apart, it may no longer be a simple thing to remember birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions. While we want to stay in touch, and let those we love know that we are thinking of them, it is not always easy to shop, find a gift, and mail it. Green plants can be ordered and paid for online, and delivered across the country in time for your loved ones to know that you miss them and remember their special days, and many times same day delivery is offered. Giving house plants is a great thing, and can remain living reminders of your thoughtfulness and love for a lifetime. Whether you want to send live plants, floral arrangements, or a neat package of different seeds and gardening tools, this is a great gift idea for people of all ages. What a great way to teach children about growing things, by letting them learn about nature, and our responsibility to nurture our planet, though planting and growing. Simple, easy to grow house plants that flower, are good choices for children, but an even better choice might be to help your children grow vegetables! You will be surprised at how much better they think vegetables taste, when they are the gardeners who grew them. A perfect plant to send to a new couple, someone who has had a recent job change, a college graduate who might have moved to pursue a career, or someone with a new baby, is a bamboo plant. Bamboo plants are lovely, with their easily recognizable stems, and beautiful green tops, but they are also symbols of good luck! Another good choice for a first house plant thats functional as well as hardy and easy to grow is the aloe vera plant. It has a multitude of medicinal uses, and is beautiful as well. How Can I Lose Weight Without Starving Myself?

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

By C Morris Have you ever wondered that too? This is a question that many people ask, yet not many ever find the answer. I have found the answer to this question, and once you hear it you’ll wonder why you never discovered it before. When you eat, your body is actively breaking down the food that you take in. This entire process burns calories. Now, don’t think you can eat a bowl of ice cream then sit down and watch tv, waiting for you body to burn it off. There are certain foods out there, though, that contain fewer calories than your body burns by digesting it. You’ve probably heard about how celery is a zero or negative calorie food. This means that your body burns more calories by digesting it then the food contains. So, effectively, you can eat all the celery that you want. Just stay away from the high calorie dips. Another online source mentioned how a 25 calorie piece of broccoli requires 80 calories to digest, resulting in a net loss of 55 calories from the body fat. Now that’s what I’m talking about! It’s just too bad we don’t have Negative Calorie Pizza. Just imagine combining a Negative Calorie Diet with a good cardiovascular workout 3 times each week and you’ll get some amazing results. There is one warning, though. Most of these Negative Calorie Foods are fruits and vegetables. Unless you’re a strict vegetarian, you may have trouble sticking with this completely. What makes this diet so good is that you can still eat other foods as well, but make the larger part of your meal out of these foods. This will allow you to have a much better time trying to keep to a diet. The main thing is to implement changes slowly and let them become a way of life. After you do this, you should start noticing subtle changes that will help you stay motivated quite easily. The following is a list of some foods that are part of the Negative Calorie Diet: asparagus, beet, broccoli, green cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery root, celery, hot chili peppers, cucumber, dandelion, endive, garden cress, garlic, green beans, zucchini, apple, cranberries, grapefruit, lemon, mango, orange, pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, tangerine, lamb’s lettuce, lettuce, onion, papaya, radishes, spinach, and turnips. This is just a small list of the MANY foods that fall into the category of “Negative Calorie Foods”. Just try a few of the items on this list and you’ll see how you can easily follow this diet and lose weight. People that are more overweight may even see quicker results, as there body naturally burns more calories than thinner people, while sedentary. A Strong Anchor

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

By Daniel N. Brown Stories have been told about the only thing that saved the lives of the people aboard a ship in a storm was a strong anchor. But, there are also stories of those who perished when their anchor did not hold. Luke and the Apostle Paul were aboard a ship that was tossed by a raging storm. Luke writes in Acts 27:29, about the actions of the crew, Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight. It is written, The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knows them who trust Him. (Nahum 1:7) What, or who, are you depending on to hold you in your storm? Is it God? Or, is it a particular person? How about money? If you are a Christian, God is your anchor and salvation can be found in no other. Jesus said, I do not pray that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from evil. (John 17:15) This is a promise that God will be our anchor in the storm and that He will keep us in His care. Ray Boltz is one of my favorite artists, and The Anchor Holds, is one of my favorite songs by him. It is a great message for those who are in the midst of a storm in their life. If you have never heard this song I encourage you to find a copy and take a listen. In times of fair weather we have comfort of knowing our anchor is there. But, in the storm, our faith is tested and we must continue to know that our anchor is still there. Sometimes, to remember the strength of our anchor, we need to feel the strength of the storm. Ironing Out The Wrinkles With Botox? Demonstrative Details Need Researching

Monday, December 24th, 2007

By Brenda Skidmore As the last of the baby boomers approach the half century mark, looking in their mirrors has them realizing they don’t appear to look as young as they used to. They are searching for novel ways to help erase or reduce those fine wrinkle lines on the face. In reducing or erasing those fine lines from around the eyes, forehead, and around lips, quick, expensive, and (not long lasting), experimental methods such as ‘Botox’ injections lure in potential clients from all walks of life or gender. A common syndrome of being over 40 is sometimes a vain need to look younger, thus making one feel younger. But before you go jumping on the ‘Botox’ injection bandwagon to temporarily handle those annoying fine lines on your face consider some of these demonstrative details: 1. In 2002 the FDA first approved the use of this drug to be used on the vertical furrows between the eyes and using it elsewhere on the face is considered off label use. 2. Using ‘Botox’ injections for cosmetic purposes, if used on more than one area of the face, will subject you to being exposed to higher than recommended doses. 3. There is lack of long term surveillance of repeated use of this toxic drug. Basically you are experimenting at your own risk with one of the most toxic poisons known to humans. 4. Erasing or reducing of those unwanted facial lines will only last for 4 months. It will be necessary to repeat the injections to retain that more youthful appearance. 5. All that is currently known about treating facial lines with ‘Botox’ is that it is a very powerful toxic agent that is limited to short term studies with generally low-dose exposures. 6. You should thoroughly research the doctor or professional you are considering, as horror stories have emerged involving over zealous individuals using highly concentrated forms of this poison intended for laboratory use only. If clearer, moister, and more tautly looking facial skin is important to you, you may be interested in taking a more natural approach. Natural methods are much less expensive, and not as time consuming as you may expect. In the time it takes for an expensive toxic poison treatment to lose it’s effectiveness, you can accomplish much the same results with nutritional methods. Your skin is no different than other parts of your body in its nutritional needs to be feed healthy ingredients to look radiant. Healthy skin really depends on much needed nutrients to help it keep it’s elasticity and firmness. Getting plenty of a wide variety of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, and essential fatty acids in your diet and using some added supplementing will help maintain a more wrinkle free and youthful appearance. Most would overlook this one great tip but please do not! Drink plenty of pure water and not a lot of coffee, tea, or sugary soda beverages, the water in them does not count as pure water. Drink at least everyone’s 2 quarts a day bare minimum. Ideally however, drink half your body weight in ounces of pure water each day remembering to include some salt along with water intake. Nothing more than plain water will do several important jobs in promoting healthy skin. Water will hydrate skin cells, move toxins out of the body and move nutrients in to the skin cells. An adequately hydrated body sweats more efficiently and will help keep your skin pores clear and help clean themselves properly. Healthy skin, and this includes your face, is really a outside picture of your inner health. If you are using expensive creams, lotions, or investing in expensive experimental treatments such as ‘Botox’ injections, all these are designed to do is give you short term results and keep you coming back for more. You can even avoid the high price tags of the more expensive cosmetics by consuming the right foods and beverages and avoid the wrong choices. Beautiful skin definitely begins naturally from the inside and radiates positive results you can see from the outside. Smarter diet choices work wonders of which, the most important choice begins with nothing more than pure water! Brenda Skidmore has spent the last four years researching natural health care alternatives. She can attest to the many benefits of natural practical cures and preventive strategies for human health. Along with the many medical professionals whose published works she has studied. It is her sincere desire to bring forth this knowledge for the betterment of mankind. Affording Adoption: Can you do it?

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Martha Osborne In coming to the decision to adopt and pursuing adoption, consideration of the costs involved often stymies many prospective adoptive parents. Many would like to consider adoption, but are hesitant because they unrealistically believe the process is too expensive. Fortunately there is a tremendous amount of valuable information and resources available not only about the costs, expenses, and fees of adoption but also how to manage them in domestic and international adoption. Many people with modest incomes adopt every year. Decisions about placing children for adoption generally are more concerned about the financial stability of the family and how well they manage the financial resources they do have than about their actual income. Adoption professionals advise that the idea of using of only one source of funding is unlikely. It is more realistic to take a creative combination of methods to start or expand a family through adoption. There are few organizations focused on helping make it financially possible to adopt, however, many determined singles and couples have found ways to raise most of the money on their own including but not limited to a subsidy, grant, loan(s), tax credits, and employer benefits. Prepared with a well thought-out plan and realistic budget that includes most of the foreseeable expenses, the vast majority of people can indeed afford to adopt and make their dream of family a reality. There is a range of financial aid resources and ideas to help families afford adoption fees: Basing adoption fees on a family’s ability to pay, some agencies provide a sliding scale based on the family’s income. Private grants and adoption loans may be available to families through the National Adoption Foundation in Danbury , Connecticut (203-791-3811) An increasing number of banks are also offering loans to families to cover adoption fees. Look into cash advances from credit cards, second mortgages, home equity loans, and special adoption loans. Consider borrowing from your life insurance policy, 401(k), or pension plan. Many loving family and friends lend or gladly donate when asked. More employers are offering adoption benefits for employees, and the dollar amounts of these benefits are growing, with the average expense reimbursement now approaching $4,000. (For the names of companies that provide adoption benefits, call the National Adoption Center at 800-TO-ADOPT.) Generous tax credits are available for families who adopt either domestically or internationally. Currently, the Adoption Tax credit is up to $10,630 for each child, or a flat $10,630 for U.S. “special needs adoption. A tax credit is more valuable than a tax deduction because allowable adoption expenses are subtracted dollar for dollar against the tax liability. (The tax credit is progressively phased out for high-income families.) Fundraising endeavors; Dedicated and determined singles and couples have enlisted the assistance of their churches and synagogues and sold everything from candy bars to magazine subscriptions. Fortunately, all of the expenses involved in adoption aren’t due at the start of the process. Depending on the income level of the adopting family, a significant portion if not all of the costs of adoption can be recouped after the fact. Early on, there are fees required up front for applications, dossier preparation, and a home study. Later, more substantial expenses are incurred, when domestic adopters may need to pay for medical and legal expenses and travel costs, and international adopters make travel plans and pay fees in their child’s country of origin. Any requirement for all fees to be paid in lump sum immediately following application should raise red flags . When considering adoption, it is clearly important to not allow emotions and desire blind the prospective parents to the very real costs that will be faced. However, at the same time, if adoption is genuinely desired, misconceptions and apprehension should not deter the prospective adoptive family. Where there is a strong will, there will always be a way and no stone should be left unturned. Education Connection

Friday, December 21st, 2007

By Stephen Cook The importance of a well rounded education is extremely important in todays ever changing world. Although you may know exactly what field or business you want to get into, be sure to fully evaluate your situation and scenario. In order to do this I feel it is crucial test the waters, to get your hands dirty with something a bit unfamiliar. I went to a a liberal arts school in Staten Island, NY and why, might you ask. I went because I had no idea what I wanted to study and furthermore, what I wanted to do, but I did know one thing, if I was going to find out I was going to find out in the most diverse city in the world, NYC. Here is where I got my well rounded education. I took my sciences, histories, mathematics, religions, and economics courses during my time in the class and learned very much from them. However I feel much of my formal education came from the time that I spent out of the classroom. The time learning and understanding how people work, how the city operated, the speed at which it operated, how trucks came in day in and day out to stock the city, all this baffled me and I was curious to learn about it. Im not downplaying my classroom time, but rather enlightening on the fact that if I had been a complete classroom student, I would not have been able to apply my classroom teachings to the daily trifles of the real world. Education comes in many forms, shapes, and sizes. One must look beyond the classroom for this while at the same time, remembering and keeping fresh what was taught in the classroom. Once this connection is made then, well my friend, you are an educated individual! liberal arts Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Stephen_Cook http://EzineArticles.com/?Education-Connection&id=414013 buy online pain ultram prescription drug ultram effects of buy cheap prescription ultram order clickdrugstore vip customs meds orawan tramadol received
